| Why Seattle is a Great Place to Study Broadcasting |
| Seattle is a very good locale for broadcasting students and media professionals because of the diverse and thriving economy and the plentiful opportunities in education. Broadcasting graduates will find interesting employment opportunities in the city through affiliate stations of major media outlets, such as ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, UPN, FOX, and the WB, and radio broadcasters licensed by Entercom, EMP, NPR, and Clear Channel Communications. Sports broadcasting is alive and well in Seattle as well, not only through sports stations, but with the Seattle Mariners (Major League Baseball) and the Seattle Seahawks (National Football League). |
