| Why Seattle is a Great Place to Study Environmental |
| Seattle is a city that believes conservation and recycling are very important to preserving and improving the environment. That's what makes it such a good place to pursue environmental studies. The Seattle Public Utilities Department recognizes natural resources being compromised by rapid urban growth and climate change. They make it their goal to minimize the impact of humans' actions to the environment as well as manage natural resources more efficiently. They pursue these goals through conservation and a mandatory recycling program. |
